Hello! My name is Richard Fajardo and I am an MBA graduate. As a Graduate Assistant at Bowling Green State University, one of my duties was to help build up the Full-Time MBA Program’s blog as the site’s primary writer.

While I enjoy reading and writing about the business world, I am also passionate about sports. As an undergraduate student at Xavier University, I spent 3 years on the Board of Directors of the student-fan group X-treme Fans. In addition to attending a number of sporting events and helping cheer our teams on, I also served as the editor of our group’s newsletter for 2 years.

This interest in writing about sports came in handy during the 2007 NBA Playoffs, when I noticed that all of the coverage of a game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons neglected a key observation at the end of the game. The day after that game, I created a blog about the Cleveland Cavaliers in order to provide a unique perspective and help people to catch observations that they might otherwise miss.

Now, I am excited to be a Contributing Writer for Suite101.com. I hope you enjoy my articles! Please also feel free to check out my new business blog "Motivated Innovation", which was inspired by my time working on BGSU's MBA blog. Also, please feel free to check out my contributions to the Yahoo! Contributor Network. Lastly, feel free to check out a blog I have started with some friends & peers called "Welcome, International Students!", which was inspired by my academic experiences over the years, including at BGSU.
